Takeoff Assistance: our team does your concrete takeoff
Too many bids due this week? Send us the plans. Our estimators measure them in CalcCon Pro — slabs, walks, curb and gutter, footings, walls, rebar — and the finished takeoff loads straight into your estimate, ready to price with your own costs.
How it works
Send the request
From the estimate in CalcCon Pro (Menu → Takeoff Assistance, or Takeoff help on Plan Takeoff), or with the form below: what to take off, the sheets, when the bid is due.Send the plans
CalcCon Pro saves one takeoff package with your plans, or paste a share link from Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or the plan room.Approve the quote
We email the hours within one business day. Nothing is done or billed until you approve.Load the takeoff
Back within 2 business days (next business day for +50%). One click puts it in your estimate; you check it and send it to the calculators.
What we take off
We follow the same method as our free guide, how to do a concrete takeoff.
- Slabs on grade and flatwork, by phase and thickness
- Sidewalks, curb ramps, curb and gutter
- Footings, foundations, walls, piers and steps
- Paving, base material and grading areas
- Rebar and demo / removals
- Counts: light pole bases, ramps, structures
What you get
- The takeoff in your own estimate: items, phases and every measurement on the sheets
- Scales set on every sheet we measured
- Notes and questions for anything the plans don’t show (we never guess a thickness — it comes to you as an RFI)
- You price it with your own crew, equipment and material costs
Billing: the actual time, with a 1-hour minimum and then in 15-minute steps; never more than the hours you approved without asking first. Invoiced after delivery; pay by card on the invoice.

Questions
Who does the takeoff?
Our own estimators, in CalcCon Pro, on your plans. It isn’t an automatic guess: a person measures every item, and anything the plans don’t show comes back to you as a question.
How is it priced?
$85 an hour with a 1-hour minimum, then in 15-minute steps. We quote the hours first; you approve before we start and you’re never billed more than the approved hours without being asked. Rush (next business day) adds 50%.
Do I need a CalcCon Pro subscription?
Yes — the takeoff is delivered into your CalcCon Pro estimate. Not a subscriber yet? Start the free trial and we’ll quote your first one when you subscribe.
Can I still use Auto takeoff?
Of course. Auto takeoff is in Plan Takeoff for every subscriber; Takeoff Assistance is for when you want a person to do it for you.
Are my plans kept private?
They’re used only for your takeoff, by our team, and deleted from our side 90 days after delivery (your estimate keeps its own copy). See the privacy page.
